As high school sports teams transition from season to season, replacing seniors is always difficult. However, the Red Lion lacrosse team in a unique situation as they have to replace a total of 139 goals from last year’s seniors.
“Overall last season was great I thought. We scored a ton of goals and our defense was a pretty solid group as well,” said Senior Sam Emig. “And with multiple threats, it was hard for the other teams to stop us.”
Red Lion had the best duo in York County last year with Emig and Red Lion graduate, Jac Gemmill, scoring 143 goals between them. Both were named to the Gametimepa all-star team and were the catalyst for the high-powered offense.
