Senior Alyssa Adams, in her second year of Red Lion lacrosse, commits to becoming a Cincinnati Bearcat in the fall season.
This lax player is nothing but a D1 prospect. Not only did Adams score roughly 70 goals last season, she won about 80 draw controls giving weight to the name draw control specialist.
Adams looks back on the previous season highlighting their victory over West York, which had been the first time Red Lion Girls defeated the notorious Bulldogs in a rainstorm blowout 14-8.
Now looking to the future, Adams is setting her eyes on power house Kennard Dale, a team that beat the Lady Lions 22-9 last season. They are looking to bring in the win this year.
In the fall semester, Adams will be heading to University of Cincinnati in Ohio to major in computer programming.
“I had a strong feeling of belonging,” Adams said “they have a really nice campus and of course because they had my major.”
She has high hopes for the future as she is succeeded by player such as junior Peyton Shima and junior Emily Harrington.
“This team is well rounded” Adams said, “and all in all a great team.”
