When asked who would qualify for the student spotlight within his art classes, Mr. Hopkins wasted no time replying with junior Hailey Gunnet.
“Hailey tries her best in the classroom and on outside assignments. She is willing to put in the extra time not just to finish her work but to make sure it is her best effort,” Mr. Hopkins said.
“It feels good to be noticed,“ Hailey Gunnet replied when approached with being picked as student spotlight. “Red Lion has a really good art program, we have some of the best art teachers here.” Gunnet smiled as she explained.
In regards to the work she has completed so far, Gunnet said what has helped her most is completing still-lifes, which “helps you to develop more in every aspect of art.”
